Bio

Christy is inter-spiritual and ecumenical in her approach as a spiritual companion and retreat facilitator.  She welcomes anyone who is seeking a deeper spiritual life.  Christy is a former family law, criminal law, and child advocate attorney.  She also previously taught high school and served as a youth minister and college adjunct instructor.

As a spiritual director, Christy, knows the heart of a seeker and provides a listening heart and a compassionate non-judgmental space to explore your spirituality.  She is the recipient of a certificate in spiritual direction from Benedict Inn in Beech Grove, Indiana. She is a Level Two Reiki practitioner. Christy earned a B.A. in Religious Education from Marian University (formerly Marian College), an M.A. in Pastoral Ministries from the University of Dayton, and a Juris Doctorate.   She has over 80 hours of mediation training and has represented children and parents in over 30 mediations and is available to mediate. She is an Associate with the Sisters of St. Francis Oldenburg and recently served on the Associate Advisory Board.

Christy has facilitated days of prayer and workshops for associate groups and retreat and learning centers as well as mindfulness training for busy attorneys, social workers and health care providers. Please contact her about a retreat day for your group.
