The Sally Wesselman Angel in the Dugout Memorial Fund was established in 2016 to honor Sally’s dedication to Badin High School boys baseball. Sally loved baseball throughout her life. She was the manager and scorekeeper for the 1951 and 1952 Western Hills High School OHSAA state champs and is listed in the official roster for those teams. Baseball was a constant throughout her life. Sally was a scorekeeper and trainer in the mid 70s and early 80s for Badin High School’s varsity baseball team and continued to support the team through the years preferring to sit in the dugout with players and coaches offering tips and sometimes stealing a sign or two! Our goal is to help a junior baseball player based on NEED and to eventually fully endow the fund for a tuition scholarship for a junior baseball player to be applied to senior year tuition at Badin High School.
